Privacy Policy

Summary

OmniResume does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data. There is no backend, no database, no analytics, and no third-party tracker. Everything you do in the builder stays on your device.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier.
• We do not collect your resume content. It never leaves your browser.
• We do not use cookies.
• We do not load analytics scripts such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Hotjar.
• We do not load advertising pixels or third-party tracking domains.
• We do not sell, rent, or share data with any third party.
• We do not have a user account system, so there are no credentials to store.

What happens on your device

When you use the builder, your resume data is stored in your browser's local storage under the key prefix omni-resume:. This data stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data or using the Clear Draft option in the editor.

Local storage keys used by OmniResume:

• omni-resume:draft - your current resume document
• omni-resume:draft-updated - the last autosave timestamp
• omni-resume:template - your selected template
• omni-resume:theme - your light or dark theme preference
• omni-resume:prefs - editor preferences
• omni-resume:backup - metadata about the last backup export
• omni-resume:locale - your language preference
• omni-resume:last-visit - a timestamp for the last visit

Server logs

OmniResume is deployed on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare produces aggregate server logs that include request metadata such as the requested path, the response status, the referring URL, the browser user agent string, and an approximate geographic location derived from IP. These logs are managed by Cloudflare and are used only for operational and security purposes. They do not contain resume content.

Third parties

OmniResume does not load third-party scripts, fonts, or services. All fonts, styles, images, and JavaScript are served from the same origin as the site itself. There is no cross-origin request except those made by Cloudflare's content delivery network.

Children's privacy

OmniResume does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since we do not collect information from anyone, there is nothing to disclose regarding children under 13 or 16.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how data is handled, this page will be updated and the effective date will be revised. Given the current architecture, we do not anticipate changes because there is no data to handle differently.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. OmniResume holds no personal data, so these rights are trivially satisfied. To delete your resume draft, clear your browser's local storage for this site.
